Kainebi Osahenye, is a Nigerian Postwar and contemporary painter,  was born in Agbor Delta state in 1964, and studied at the Auchi Polytechnic as well as the Yaba College of Technology, graduating with a major in painting in 1989.

Kainebi Osahenye's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from 153 USD to 13,772 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork.
