Auditioning for Africa’s Next Top Model Comes to Nigeria

If you are an aspiring model or you would love to be on Tyra Banks’ reality show, America’s Next Top Model ─ where young aspiring models are groomed to achieve their modelling dream ─ and you are in Nigeria or elsewhere in Africa, then the opportunity to be has come to your doorstep.

Nigerian supermodel extraordinaire, Oluchi Orlandi who is also the host and executive producer of the African Version of the show, Africa’s Next Top Model, has kicked off preparations for the first and historic season of the show, scouting and auditioning for young models all over Africa.

The foremost season of the show, which will be filmed in several locations in South Africa, will be aired on M-Net’s AfricaMagic channels later in the year.

“South Africa has great vibrant cosmopolitan cities, breathtaking scenery and warm people,” Oluchi said in a statement obtained.

“We cannot wait to start filming the series in August in Cape Town. I am very happy to bring Africa’s Next Top Model to South Africa.

“I’m honoured to be part of the successful franchise; Africa’s own version of America’s Next Top Model was definitely overdue. I’ve been to South Africa many times and I’m sure this is the best location for the show.”

The Auditioning for Nigerian hopefuls hold at the Federal Palace on the 23rd July 2013.
