THE LAGOS HAMBURG LINE
The Lagos-Hamburg Line is written in collaboration with the German Consulate-General in Lagos, Nigeria and covers the 170-year-old period of the formal commercial relationship between Nigeria and Germany. As well as over 500 years of physical interaction after the first recorded presence of German explorers in the 16th and early 17th centuries, the book is also a mini-commercial history of Nigeria tracing in an objective manner the Nation’s transition from a traditional to a modern economy. This NNP edition of The Lagos – Hamburg Line is designed and produced as a collector’s edition of the latest work by Ed Emeka Keazor, one of Nigeria’s most dedicated historians, who has spent a major part of the last 20 years digging into Nigeria’s insufficiently documented past. The NNP* Edition sports a redesigned cover and a overall resizing from the original 6 x 9 inches to the more dramatic 8.5 x 11-inch dimensions, to enhance its functionality as a work of reference. * NNP is associated with The Nigerian Nostalgia Project
