Antique  wooden figure of a women Sango worshiper. Sango is orisha, a deity in Yoruba religion. Sango is a royal ancestor of the Yoruba as he was the third Alaafin of Oyo kingdom prior to his posthumous deification. The ritual worship is done on the fifth day of the week  using bitter cola, guguru and amala.
