For Art's Sake is a celebration and a testimony of rich legacy of art in Nigeria . The initiative is all the more significant considering that private collections of this magnitude are seldom published nor exhibited publicly in Nigeria. I hope this publication will encourage greater awareness of this important phase in the history and culture of art collecting in the country.
