WESLEY is a newly-sacked journalist who in frustration and uttermost confusion, goes to drink off his sorrow at a roadside beer parlour.

PHILOMENA, a prostitute in her last laps, runs the beer parlour as a side hustle, which has become her main sustenance. In a lightbulb moment, Wesley decides to interview Philomena, because he sees potential for a great story that will change the course of journalism. He soon finds himself being sucked into growing affection for Philo as she tells her gripping story.

He, however, has not reckoned with AREA, a frustrated, wannabe scientist, broke teacher, and philo most must loyal customer and admirer.
